 Scott Hines Sr. EdM, C.S.C.S. RKC, owner of Pro Performance, a performance training facility in Rome Georgia, and Co-owner of High School Strength and Speed, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this company. His 24 years of training and coaching experience, a passion and enthusiasm to help young athletes accomplish their goals and his in the trenches approach is tremendous asset to our company.
Scott began his career as a linebacker for Marion Military Institute, Marion, Alabama and Minot State University, Minot, North Dakota. Returning to his alma mater to coach in 1984, Scott became Minot State University’s Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as the Student Assistant Football Coach. He graduated from Minot State with a B.S. degree in Health and Movement Education. After moving to Florida, Coach Hines began coaching at the high school level with Newberry, Hawthorne, and Dunnellon High Schools. Scott and his family then moved to Newberry S.C. where he became the Strength & Conditioning and Offensive Line Coach. Pursing his Masters of Education at Clemson University, Scott had the opportunity to serve the football program as graduate assistant strength andconditioning coach as well as a graduate assistant with football operations.
In 1994 Scott took the position as the Head Strength and Conditioning, Assistant Football and Wrestling Coach at Rome High School. After serving Rome High for six years, Scott founded Pro Performance. Currently, Pro Performance is a thriving personal and sports performance facility in Rome, Georgia. Scott also served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as an assistance coach for the Rome Renegades, an arena football team in Rome. The Renegades played for the league championship for 2 straight years.
In 2009, Scott will join the Power Systems Total Training Seminar speaking tour. He will speak on kettlebell training and alternative methods of training.
Scott has been married to Lisa for 24 years, and they have three wonderful children, Scott Jr., age 22, Josh, age 20, and Sharon, age 18.

"Erik Korem, MS, C.S.C.S., CSCCa, USA Weight Lifting Club Coach, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to High School Strength and Speed. His expertise in speed development is unmatched. Erik is currently an assistant strength and conditioning coach and adjunct professor at Mississippi State University.
Erik Korem began his career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Texas A&M University…as a walk-on football player. At Texas A&M, Erik learned the value of hard work and commitment as a member of the 12th Man Squad. Although he didn’t garner much playing time, Erik found his passion in Strength and Conditioning.
Mike Clark, currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Seattle Seahawks, was Erik’s coach and helped develop his strong foundation in the fundamentals of training. After earning his BS in Applied Exercise Physiology, Erik began working as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Arkansas. While at Arkansas Erik was directly responsible for training women’s track and field, women’s tennis, soccer and swimming/diving. In addition, under the direction of Don Decker, Erik assisted in training football.
After two years at Arkansas, Erik earned a MS in Exercise Science and accepted his first full-time position at Fort Valley State University. With the help of an ambitious football staff, Erik developed the first strength and conditioning program at Fort Valley. Within a matter of a few months, Erik reformatted the training facility and the training attitude.
Erik’s next assignment was as the Director of Athletic Performance at the University of Pacific. Here Erik was directly responsible for the development of nearly 400 student-athletes in over 15 sports. Following a short stint at Pacific, Erik accepted a position at Mississippi State University.
Currently, Erik is directly responsible for training men’s and women’s tennis and softball. In addition, Erik works under the direction of Ben Pollard in training football. Apart of the weight room, Erik is an adjunct professor and teaches course in Kinesiology.
Erik is engaged to Ms. Haley Guess.
