Coming out of college i didn't have the numbers that even the average receiver had. I knew that to pursue my lifelong dream I would have to stand out tremendously at my pro day. Working with Coach Korem gave me the opportunity of
a life time, not only performing extremely well at my pro day but also getting me ready physically and mentally to make the squad. I was really impressed with Coach Korem's commitment and dedication to each individual athlete that trained with him. Coach Korem is legit, hands down, you have my word. Coach Korem will give you the chance to improve your performance not only now but also in the future as well. With the knowledge that Coach Korem teaches, each individual will benefit in a great way.

As a coach of world class sprinters and college athletes for over 20 years, I have had the opportunity to come in contact with hundreds of strength and conditioning specialists from all over the world.  I can confidently say that Erik Korem is one of the most “complete” strength coaches that I have ever encountered.  He is on the cutting edge regarding the dynamics of speed development, and his ability to design programs which convert strength to power is unparalleled.  I would consider any of his programs to be a valuable resource.

1"I have had the pleasure of watching Erik develop from an athlete in the trenches to an exciting coach who will help develop an athlete into their fullest potential.  With Erik, no stone is left unturned and he is truly invested in each athlete.  There is no cookie-cutter approach to training that is so rampant in our field.  He is young coach who is wise beyond his years because he has a true passion for being the best and giving his best to his kids.  I am a mom and have over 15 years of coaching experience in the S&C field and Erik is one of the few coaches that I would give a thumbs up to coaching my own children."

1"Erik Korem, MS, C.S.C.S., CSCCa, USA Weight Lifting Club Coach, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to High School Strength and Speed. His expertise in speed development is unmatched. Erik is currently an assistant strength and conditioning coach and adjunct professor at Mississippi State University.

Erik Korem began his career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Texas A&M University…as a walk-on football player.  At Texas A&M, Erik learned the value of hard work and commitment as a member of the 12th Man Squad. Although he didn’t garner much playing time, Erik found his passion in Strength and Conditioning.

Mike Clark, currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Seattle Seahawks, was Erik’s coach and helped develop his strong foundation in the fundamentals of training.  After earning his BS in Applied Exercise Physiology, Erik began working as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Arkansas.  While at Arkansas Erik was directly responsible for training women’s track and field, women’s tennis, soccer and swimming/diving.  In addition, under the direction of Don Decker, Erik assisted in training football.

After two years at Arkansas, Erik earned a MS in Exercise Science and accepted his first full-time position at Fort Valley State University.  With the help of an ambitious football staff, Erik developed the first strength and conditioning program at Fort Valley.  Within a matter of a few months, Erik reformatted the training facility and the training attitude.

Erik’s next assignment was as the Director of Athletic Performance at the University of Pacific.  Here Erik was directly responsible for the development of nearly 400 student-athletes in over 15 sports.  Following a short stint at Pacific, Erik accepted a position at Mississippi State University.

Currently, Erik is directly responsible for training men’s and women’s tennis and softball.  In addition, Erik works under the direction of Ben Pollard in training football.  Apart of the weight room, Erik is an adjunct professor and teaches course in Kinesiology.

Erik is engaged to Ms. Haley Guess.

“I have gained valuable knowledge from Erik in the short time I have know him. He is a young coach with the ability to transfer his book knowledge and intelligence to the practical side of the weight room. His expertise of speed development and movement is unmatched.
